All of our electric log splitters (FM5, FM8, FM10 & FM16) are now supplied with a work bench and safety cage that meet all European safety legislation.
The cages are designed to catch logs and debris, making splitting logs safer.
Our cages allow you to split larger logs than other safety cages. The cages on the FM5 & FM8 allow a maximum diameter of 300mm. The cages on the FM10 & FM16 allow a maximum diameter of 400mm. Typically other manufacturers only allow 250mm diameter.
New to 2021, our new kinetic log splitter also comes with a workbench and safety cage – with a three-second cycle time – you don’t want to miss it! Want to learn more? Check out our blog on What is a Kinetic Log Splitter, and why you need one
*All cutting capacities are quoted based upon the work bench and safety cage being fitted.
In addition the vertical sides of our cages are solid so that logs canโt get trapped in mesh our other openings and damage the cage.
Bought the 8 ton splitter last year.
Wish we’d bought it 5years ago and saved all the backache of hand splitting.
We’ve had 40 year old Xmas trees, 60 year old ash and oak and leylandii…. nothing seems to stop it. 5 stars.
Best wishes
Keith and Jane Frior
