Every forestry fanatic needs a tool kit to match. One crucial element of which is a sawhorse, it streamlines your cutting abilities and enables you to get the ultimate cut every time. See our full Saw Horse range here.
The Ultimate Saw Horse is our heavy-duty log holder and can handle logs up to 6 metres long and 300kg in weight while being lightweight and portable. It’s the ultimate tool in any arsenal.
The unique chain locking method makes the one-man operation simple and combined with the toothed v clamp secures the log against rotation when cutting with a chainsaw. An advantage of its design is that a log only needs to be loaded and positioned once in order to make all cuts. Imagine the flexibility of simply loading logs once, no more manoeuvring logs upwards of 300kg repeatedly. Lock and load, cut and go.
The Ultimate Saw Horse needs minimum initial assembly and then simply folds for easy storage and transport then opens and is ready for use. Better yet, this enables you to pack up and go to the job then easily stack and store the sawhorse when you’re finished.
Still wondering why you need a sawhorse? Check out our Forest Master blog, for instance, here’s a handy guide explaining the difference between a sawhorse and a workbench. Still not convinced? Here’s our three main reasons why everyone needs a sawhorse:
1) Mobility – if a project involves moving bulky or heavy pieces of wood, you want a mobile piece of kit
2) Saves Time – woodworking roles typically entail adhering to strict time constraints, so it’s best to cut multiple at once
3) Increase Daily Production – think of a sawhorse like an extra pair of hands increasing convenience and productivity – they’re an essential investment
Our ultimate sawhorse is the ultimate tool, crucial for even the most reluctant DIYer.
