Universal Chainsaw Sawmill – Multi-Purpose Saw Horse, Sawmill & Workbench
The Patent-Pending (WO2020/201715) Forest Master Universal Woodworking Station (UWWS) is the ultimate tool for all your Sawmill requirements, plus more, without breaking the bank.
The Universal Sawmill bundles together a chainsaw sawmill, log sawhorse and a mitre saw workbench all together in one ultimate tool. The possibilities are limitless. We’re confident the UWWS can provide a better chainsaw wood finish than anything else on the market.
Load your log onto the stand, screw the log into place, and away you go. From Setup to milling in just a few minutes. Eliminate the time demanded to readjust the wood each time you want to perform a new cut. Simply readjust the height (which takes moments) and repeat the effective process until you produce all the accurately sized wood you need with a perfect wood finish.
It can handle logs up to 1450mm in length and 520mm in diameter. The framework holds the chainsaw and slots onto the guide rails, allowing the chainsaw to run along with the guides and perform a perfectly horizontal cut. The guides are telescopic so can be quickly lowered to perform multiple cuts without adjusting the position of the wood. Logs can also be secured vertically, allowing them to be sawn into coins.
The chainsaw can also be mounted in a vertical position with a different bracket that sits on the guides. This is so that the bark from both sides of the log can be cut off before performing multiple horizontal cuts.
The two C-shaped clamps are joined together by a connecting support bar which acts as a handle and allows the user to seamlessly direct, ease and pivot the chainsaw through the wood. The bar stands at an acute angle behind the chainsaw, carefully positioning you in the optimal position to direct the force applied from the chainsaw in any way you see fit to efficiently perform the fastest cut.
Extensions are available separately, to allow logs of up to 6 metres to be processed.
The Universal Sawmill Station can also be used as a sawhorse. A range of spiked, V-Shaped clamps are included which can be used in the telescopic slots. A log can be rested in the V clamps to secure it in place so it can be vertically cut into smaller logs. Being telescopic, the sawhorse can be adjusted to suit logs of any size up to the maximum length of 1450mm and maximum diameter of 500mm.
Using a set of runners and router bed (sold separately) a router can be fitted to the woodworking station. This allows the router to move in both X and Y directions along the wood for whatever the need.
The Forest Master Mitre saw Work Bench can be clamped to the base unit of the woodwork station. The workbench can be titled to a number of angles to make other woodworking tasks easier.

Benefits of the Universal Sawmill Station:
- The chainsaw is supported and guided on both sides of the log, preventing bar movement during cuts.
- The C-Section that slots onto the guides supports above and below the rails, preventing distortion in the cuts.
- The handle on the chainsaw frame is offset from the bar to direct the force in the horizontal plane and not force the blades down.
- The log can be placed on a rotational bracket which means it can be rotated 90⁰ between cuts and locked off to quickly make fence posts.

Overall very good tool to have, few things could be improved as far as I can see so far , the locking bolts for the rail heights are a bit hard to tie and undo maybe replace the knob with a lever of some sort , same for the bolts that have the triangular plastic on them ( first time I tighten them and the plastic spins on the bolt head) , another thing that could be improved are the plastic guides on the saw attachment they come off too easy and they are too narrow in my opinion
Overall pretty happy with the bench so far does everything what it says on the tin :))

Hardly any instructions so many hours to set up. Doesn’t run smoothly on guide rails. Almost useless unfortunately.

The phrase ‘Value for money’ is often overused, but in this case it is so so true. I am seriously impressed with the sawmill station, the extras you get with it are incredible and make this a multipurpose piece of kit. It’s very sturdy and extremely well built. Even the instructions were easy to follow when setting it all up!

Brilliant communication throughout and on top of that, the product is really well made and has replaced my old workbench due to how much sturdier and adaptable it is. Very clever design making it simple and a lot less effort compared to other milling stations. Would highly recommend!
