Log Lifter Timber Jack Tree Felling Lever
Our log lifter is a simple and easy way to lift and roll logs and trunks off the ground so that they can be cut with a chainsaw without the danger of the blade hitting the ground. With the handle vertical, simply push the base against the log and lift the hook over. Then holding the handle at the top, pull back until the handle rests on the ground.
The two feet ensure that it is stable when the log is raised, ensuring that it can’t roll when being sawn.
The strong steel hook and long handle make it capable of lifting logs up to 500mm in diameter.
Wondering why you need a sawhorse? Check out our Forest Master blog, for instance, here’s a handy guide explaining the difference between a sawhorse and a workbench (click to read). Still not convinced? Here are our three main reasons why everyone needs a sawhorse:
1) Mobility – if you’re constantly working with heavy wood and having to manoeuvre it whether for work or play; a sawhorse will make your day
2) Saves Time – when working with wood you want to do it as quickly as possible, by having multiple logs loaded at once you’re saving time and effort
3) Increase Daily Production – think of a sawhorse like an extra pair of hands increasing convenience and productivity – they’re an essential investment
What’s better than one innovative tool? How about a market-leading 2-in-1 solution being a sawhorse and a felling lever. A felling lever enables you to quickly and safely fell trees, how? Well, it ensures that both you and your back are safe from strain and help you control the way in which the tree falls. Using a lever increases the accuracy when compared with wedges alone.
