Hexagonal impact socket, forged from chrome vanadium steel, hardened & tempered. Black phosphate finish for corrosion protection. 1/2 inch drive. The socket is manufactured with no tapered edge, this means it does not round off the wood chipper bolts when removing and tightening. Compatible with Forest Master Compact Wood Chipper Series.
Can be used with an impact gun if necessary.
It burred through use. I had to request a replacement. The thin headed bolts on the blades are difficult to remove even with this tool and the socket isn’t made of hard enough material ala a normal socket head
Socket twist the hed can screw one bolt 🔩 unfortunately

The tool was perfect but it does need an impact wrench to remove the bolts. On a general note about the chipper itself the design needs more thought. There should be a built in handle to assist with moving the chipper – it shouldn’t be an extra. Also the chipper is VERY prone to blockages and quick release clips for the hopper and chute would make the chipper ideal. Why was more thought not put into the design?
