Thanks for wanting to publish a guest post on Forest Master. Yes, we publish guest posts if the quality is deemed acceptable. We’re always looking for new ideas. If you’ve got a topic that will be of value to our readers, whether it educate, enrich or simply entertain them, we want to hear about it.
Please read carefully before requesting guest posts
Accepted Topics:
- Anything forestry related such as how to guide’s, information guides.
- Step by Step gardening DIY’s
- Woodworking projects
- DIY guides (ie how to make x)
- Forestry articles
- Splitting guides
- Top 10 x articles (ie Top 10 types of wood for your log burner)
original photos illustrating your DIY or project are to be included.
Images and Screenshots
Whenever it’s helpful, please include screenshots and/or images which you have a right to use. You much provide attribution for images and sourcing information. Images must be at least 500px x 500px and centred.
You need to supply at least one image to use as the featured image for the post and it must be 1200px x 680px with the image height of 680px being slightly tall or smaller if needed.
Article length:
500 to 1,500 words long is the guideline. We’re flexible; the key is that the article is excellent and comprehensive.
Article Formatting
Please use H2, H3 and H4 Heading. The H1 heading will be the article title. Use H2 heading one or two times as main subheading and H3 for all other heading and H4 for the smaller heading if needed
Links (outbound):
Go ahead and place one link to your site to a relevant URL that is helpful in the content, not in the byline at the bottom. We do review this and may reject the article or request a change if the URL choice is not relevant or we simply do not want to link to the site for another reason such as being spammy or low quality.
We permit one to two dofollow links in the content. I require the byline be nofollow. The byline is optional. I also require plenty of additional outbound dofollow links to a variety of other sites as references.
Please also include other outbound links to other relevant, helpful resources on the web.

Format:
Provide to me as a Google Doc (i.e. docx.) via email. send your email to marketing@forest-master.com and ensure the doc is in edit mode before sending and NOT read-only.
Video inclusion:
We reserve the right to add a youtube video if relevant to the article.
