The FM10PTW is a 5-ton petrol engine powered hydraulic log splitter for domestic use. Powered by our 52cc 2-stroke engine, you can wheel this log splitter to wherever you want to split your logs. No need any longer to be restricted by socket placement or extension leads.
It features a trolley stand that has lockable castors on the front. This makes it more manoeuvrable than the traditional stands which have wheels at the rear and just a flat foot at the front.
The FM10PTW arrives equipped with our trademarked DuoCut™ blade, enabling it to split logs more efficiently than log splitters fitted with a traditional pusher and by being able to split from either end to cope with knotty wood. In addition, it is fitted with a ramstop that reduces the return distance and time when splitting shorter logs.
The equipped petrol engine means you’re not tethered by sockets or mains – simply wheel your log splitter to wherever you store your wood and get splitting!
To meet safety regulations, the FM10PTW has two-handed control, with one hand operating the throttle and the other the hydraulic control lever. It also has a workbench and safety cage to contain the split logs and debris. The safety cage has solid sides so logs can’t become trapped and cause damage. The log splitter also arrives pre-filled with oil.
