Fast Fire Petrol Kinetic Log Splitter
The Forest Master Fast Fire Log Splitter is a petrol kinetic log splitter capable of producing 8 tons of splitting power, making easy work of fresh and seasoned wood easy. The machine is capable of splitting logs up to 520mm in length and 400mm in width. The fast fire utilises the incredible power of the Honda GX35 Engine.
What’s the benefit of the fast fire over standard log splitters? One of many benefits is that the latest kinetic technology powers the Fast Fire, the splitter uses the powerful and forever reliable Honda GX35 engine to power a single flywheel system that stores energy for a single quick burst to split your logs. This fast, reliable and efficient technology and design drastically reduce the cycle time of the splitter to 3 seconds. You can split wood as fast as you can load it!
Another key benefit is that the fast-fire kinetic splitter features an automatic belt tension system. This means that you are not required to tension the belts. No hassle or inconvenience, just plug in and you’re ready to go.
The fast-fire petrol kinetic log splitter is a new and innovative machine on the market which is the key to splitting that stacked pile of wood you’ve been avoiding for a while, in record time with minimal effort. Long gone are the days of backbreaking work chopping logs. Want to learn more about how kinetic log splitters operate? check out our blog post ‘what is a kinetic log splitter and why you need one‘.
This petrol kinetic log splitter is equipped with a stand that features wheels at the rear and locking castors at the front. This allows the machine to be moved around easily in a workshop or garage. You can also choose to operate the stand at full height or as a low stand closer to the ground if you have heavier logs to lift. Also included are our highly-rated workbench and guard. Unlike other safety cages fitted by other manufacturers, our guard features no holes in the side panels. When holes are present within the guard, they often catch logs as they’re splitting and damage the machine.
It arrives pre-built, fully tested and ready for use. Simply fit the supplied workbench and guard, as well as raise the stand if preferred. Add fuel and you’re ready to start splitting!
Why choose a petrol log splitter over an electric model? The Fast Fire is built for long-lasting, rapid and efficient log splitting. This is why we have designed it so that the Honda GX35 petrol engine only utilises the revs it requires to split the log. Whereas, competitor machines operate at full power continuously. This means that the life span of the fast fire is greatly increased as well as saving on fuel costs as it doesn’t operate at full power unless you’re splitting tougher logs.
As always, any purchase made from ourselves comes with a full warranty and direct access to our expert technical advice line – talk directly to the engineers who have designed and tested the machine from the ground up.

I’ve recently bought a fast fire splitter. It was easy to assemble. The crate was damaged when it was delivered and the instruction manuals and ram handle were missing. I called Forest Master. The manuals were sent to me within ten minutes and the ram handle arrived next day.
I took it to my wood yesterday and put it to work. The engine isn’t overly noisy, though i did wear ear defenders. The engine is economical and the pile of logs at the end of the day was inpressive.I have an electric hydraulic splitter and it is has been very reliable (hence i bought from Forest Master again) but the FD ast fire is so much faster.
My only gripe is that I load my splitter onto a trailer and the track size of the front and back wheels is different which makes it a bit awkward on the ramps, but that’s down to the ramps rather than the machine.
I would recommend this splitter to anyone who needs a fast and capable machine.
so much quicker then our forest master hydraulic splitter witch we brought over 2 years ago still going strong tho but the kinetic log splitter in a fast machine at least 3 times more production done in the same time
This is a must have for the serious log splitter easy to set up and simple to use and fast
