We advise using this safety cage at all times when operating the splitter. As with anything Forest Master, we always strive to improve on competitors. Our unique workbench and safety guard features no holes in the side panels which ensures that logs cannot get caught and cause serious damage to the guard.
The FM8TW-TC comes with our latest trolley stand which uses the rear wheels from the log splitter and has locking castors at the front allowing for easier movement and use of our log splitter.

Love it – life changing BUT… the stand is really fiddly to put together with bolts in ridiculously inaccessible positions. But don’t let that put you off.

Only rated as 4 stars, the ram was installed upside down so handle wrong way round. Package was dropped at some stage as stand support bracket bent had to straighten to fit cradle legs. one bolt missing for front caster bracket. The splitter itself works very well no effort to split logs.
