Work Bench & Safety Cage
All our electric log splitters (FM5, FM8, FM10 & FM16) are now supplied with a work bench and safety cage that meet all European safety legislation.
The cages are designed to catch logs and debris, making splitting logs safer.
Our cages allow you to split larger logs than other safety cages. The cages on the FM5 & FM8 allow a maximum diameter of 300mm. The cages on the FM10 & FM16 allow a maximum diameter of 400mm. Typically other manufacturers only allow 250mm diameter.
In addition the vertical sides of our cages are solid so that logs can't get trapped in mesh our other openings and damage the cage.
