There are two possible reasons that the petrol wood chipper or mulcher will not start.
OIL LEVEL SENSOR
The engine MUST have between 600ml – 650ml of oil. Any more and any less will cut the ignition of the engine and prevent start-up.
HOPPER SENSOR
The bolt underneath the hopper must be securely screwed into the microswitch or the ignition will be cut and the engine will not start.
If you have completed both of these steps, open the air filter cover and check the air filter. It should be clean and dry, free of any oil. You can access the air filter by removing the LCT embossed panel on the engine via two screws.
