Um 1850 wurde die Produktion eingestellt, die Brennerei verfiel. 1872 waren nur noch Ruinen brig. Erst ab dem Jahr 2011 entstanden Plne fr eine neue Destillerie unweit des Gelndes der alten Anlage.
